Management - Planning, design, & development (Facilities, signage, & visitor information)

Schwinck, K. W. (1985). Analysis of literature and public input leading to the development of management direction for Rock Creek off-road motorcycle area. Georgetown, CA: U.S.D.A. Forest Service, Pacific south-west region.

Abstract

Analyzes and summarizes the management concepts that will affect ORV management decisions, and attempts to apply this knowledge to trailbike bike use on the Ranger District. The analysis is developed from six major sources: the public meetings held for the Ranger District's EA; the literature search for the EA; the recorded contacts with local agencies, adjacent landowners, user groups, and individual motorcyclists. Outlines a proposed management direction for the ORV area, based on this analysis.
