Abstract

OHV user survey to examine owner characteristics, attitude, and preferences. Respondents were selected at random from Utah OHV registrations and interviewed by telephone. This was a very extensive questionnaire, including the verbatim responses to interviewers' open-ended questions. Other questions included demographics, what vehicles, where ridden, distance traveled, types of riding preferred, attitudes toward OHV program fund use, attitudes toward training and safety, and much more.
