Outdoor recreation: A positive force across America: 1-70

Abstract

A national survey conducted via in-person interviews in the respondents homes by a contractor hired by a consortium of major private recreation professionals, absent any government managers. This was an in-depth interview running to nearly 50 questions, covering the influence of outdoor activities on families, kids, and overall human health and well-being, as well as the respondents' perceptions of private recreation providers, respondents' perceptions of their effects on the environment, perceptions of government recreation providers, what might be done to improve delivery of outdoor recreation "products," and much more. Not OHV specific.
