Abstract

OHV safety, ethics and etiquette training for grades 3-7. A teaching manual with outlines and illustrations. The curriculum package includes a trunk full of props: video, audiotapes, gear (helmet, goggles, gloves etc), toolkit, maps, survival pack, etc to use in class. Audiotapes are played to illustrate scenarios of riding behavior; students determine whether it is appropriate or not in interactive teaching sessions. Provides quizzes and games with props (suitable for indoor use) to test youngster’s comprehension, including an OHV-Jeopardy game.
