Abstract
Article outlines the concerns of the U.S. forest service about improper
use of OHVs in the National forests. Explains the tread lightly program
which began in Utah. This program was endorsed by the united 4WD associations
of the US and Canada, the North American association of Hunters safety
coordinated, the motorcycle industry council, the American motorcyclist
association, the specialty vehicle institute of America, the Foundation
for ORV safety, the American ATV association, and ISF.
