Abstract

The lack of management of OHVs in the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest has caused
a significant amount of resource damage, mainly to vegetation. An OHV management direction that has been written for the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest, but has not been implemented. This paper documents some actions that have been taken on the forest in implementing the management direction. It also discusses ideas from other research that can be used to manage OHV's and suggests a plan of action for implementation.
