Blue Experimental ATV Trail Environmental Research. Annual
Report, Unity College, Unity. Research was initiated to assess the impact of ATV traffic on the ecosystem
of Mt. Blue state park. Determined that ATVs did not cause trail erosion,
decrease bird population, or disturb larger game animals deer/moose);
however, soil compaction did occur and sound attenuation could be a problem
