do not know about off-road vehicle impacts on wildlife.
In R.N.L. Andrews & P.P. Nowak (eds.) Off-road vehicle use: A
management challenge conference. Washington. D.C. Research concerning off-road vehicles is reviewed to illustrate the level
of impact on wildlife in different habitats and to provide guidance for
more effective protection of wildlife in areas used for OHV activities.
Effects on wildlife include direct mortality, damage to vegetation, disruption
to soil, and noise harassment. Research and management recommendations
