measurements: 1989-90 Turkey Bay off-road vehicles area land between the
lakes. Golden Pond, Kentucky: Tennessee Valley Authority. The monitoring plan assessed the amounts and types of impacts on soils, vegetation and wildlife. The objective of the 89-90 monitoring was to repeat the physical impact measurements and apply the previously developed social monitoring methods. Amount, location, and severity of wheel-to-ground impacts were re measured as was the corresponding amounts and types of use. Results indicated a continued low percentage of impact area within total area. Visitor satisfaction is very high.
