Environmental Impact - Environmental assessments (EIS etc.)

Taylor, R. B. The effects of off-road vehicles on ecosystems.

Abstract

Effects of OHV on ecosystems have been a controversial subject across the United States and throughout the world. In the US, it became an issue during the 1970's when environmentalists became concerned with ORV use on federal properties. During this time, scientific investigations were conducted to evaluate the environmental effects human uses on resources in the California Desert Conservation Area.
