Abstract
Study was commissioned in 1980 to assess the current policies related to recreational ORV use on private land and to develop strategies which would permit continued and/or expand access and usage by these recreationists. It analyzed existing federal, state and local legislation, regulations and policies; analyzed private and corporate landholder policies with regard to ORV use on their land; and analyzed literature regarding the impacts of ORV usage on the land.
