Administration - Statewide & regional planning Planning for trailbike recreation part
II. U.S. Department of the Interior & Heritage conservation
and recreation service. The text of 16 presentations at a New York state OHV workshop circa 1980. Presenters were agency managers, researchers, enthusiasts, and activists. The presentations reflect the newness of trailbiking as a recognized recreation activity and a striking absence of established management formula. The result is a collection of novel and original comments and approaches. Program design, working liaisons between clubs and agencies, research projects, funding, early ideas about registration programs, detailed attempts to understand the user, and users making the case for more management are a few of the subjects.
