Administration - Statewide & regional planning U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management, Barstow Resource
Area. (1991). Draft Stoddard Valley Off-Highway
Vehicle Area Management Plan. A Plan for Open-Area Off-Highway Vehicle
Recreational Use. During 1990 BLM met with local residents, OHV enthusiasts, grazing permittees,
miners, land developers and environmentalists to identify issues and to
develop appropriate responses. As a result of these meetings this plan
recommends a coordinated-management approach to decisions regarding the
future of this area. The plan includes recommendations for resolving current
conflicts, for providing effective management, and for ensuring the continued
multiple-use of the Area's resources. Need information fast?
